Students from Applemore College

Students from Applemore College at nearby Dibden Purlieu received prizes from Marchwood Power’s Schools Liaison Officer, Jane Holman, following their visit to the power station in July. Jade Perry, a Year 11 student won an IPod for her essay about her visit; she hopes to pursue a career in engineering. Sam Pitcher and James Luscombe (pictured alongside Jade) were runners-up. Also pictured with Jane Holman and the Applemore students is Mark Wynne, Applemore’s Head of Science.
